Even brilliant financial minds need wayfinding direction when they are all in one place at one time, preparing to receive in-depth training in financial excellence! We were pleased to create a variety of custom signs for the national Society for Financial Studies (SFS) Cavalcade North America 2017 event held at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University in May of this year.

The 3-day event, hosted by Owen’s Financial Markets Research Center, consisted of a variety of workshops and presentations throughout each day, covering all areas of finance. The layout of the event called for a significant amount of directional signage.

 The exterior entrance to the event. We applied the custom vinyl graphics to the textured brick archway framing the entrance doors. 

From outdoor vinyl graphics that were attached to brick entrances, to textured ground decals, yard signs, and window graphics, we created wayfinding pieces that guided attendees to the interior of the buildings and the sessions and activities scheduled there.

Once inside the buildings, there were many branded signs pointing the way to events throughout the buildings, including a registration banner, door signs, stair signage, column banners, floor decals, and even signage on the elevator doors.  For extra convenience, we printed part of the agenda and sponsor logos on a large wall panel for easy reference.

Columns, doorways, floors, stairs, and even elevators told you where you were and why you were there.

We created general wall signage announcing meals, breaks, and individual sessions. We also did large, identifiable icons for restrooms (a very important component of signage for any group)! All the adhesive pieces were done in a high-quality, low-tack adhesive that is strong enough to hold through the event but easily removed after the event. As an added (and significant) perk, the material leaves no adhesive residue when removed.

The restroom wall, door, and window graphics turned out great! You really had no chance of missing the restrooms with these.
