Absolutely! Take Rick’s Electrical and Plumbing of Manchester, TN as a prime example. The good folks at Rick’s have entrusted 12-Point SignWorks with the design and installation of their fleet graphics. The bright yellow vans are decorated with bold black graphics and text that clearly scream “Hire Me!” in stark contrast with typical white work vans. At the same time these rolling billboards were put into action for fleet advertising, Rick’s EP engaged in an expensive, 3-month advertising campaign in a local consumer publication that reaches 500,000 households. 

The results of the two marketing programs? According to George Keller, General Manager of Rick’s Electrical and Plumbing, the impact of the fleet graphics for generating new business (with only 2 vans at the time) surpassed the leads generation of the consumer publication! And how about the cost comparison between the investment in fleet advertising vs. the print ads?  Vehicle graphics for the first two “bumble bee” vans had a significantly higher ROI with a cost equal to only one-fourth that of the print advertising campaign!
