Your front office and lobby areas have the ability to make a strong impression on potential and current clients as well as on your own staff.
What impression do you want them to have?
Does your front reception area look outdated, worn-out, and maybe even unprofessional? Is the most interesting object in the lobby the latest copy of "Field & Stream" or "People" magazine?
The use of custom lobby signs can make a great difference in the impression you create with clients and employees. Create some "Wow!" that will communicate key characteristics of how you want people to think of your company.
For example, The Law Firm of Martin Sir & Associates wanted their high-end clients to walk into the firm's offices and to immediately feel that they were in a professional establishment that would be able to successfully address their legal concerns.
Dark mahogany-stained wood, together with the use of etched glass vinyl, polished dimensional letters, and brushed aluminum standoffs, created a professional custom office sign to welcome the firm's clients.
In contrast, Avatar Software wanted a lobby sign that would complement the physical appearance of awards they have received from their key software suppliers. The company's positioning within the technology industry suggested that the logo sign use materials that would create a more "technical" look.
A brushed aluminum panel created an attractive background for Avatar's full color logo, which was digitally printed, die cut, and applied to clear acrylic. The acryrlic and aluminum layers are separated by round aluminum standoffs. The logo was fabricated with a matte finish to contrast with the glossy acrylic surface.
