Camouflage vehicle wraps have been increasing in popularity.  Outdoor companies such as Mossy Oak, RealTree, and others alike are licensing their patterns now for full vehicle wraps.   Often sold in kits by manufacturers, auto customization shops and outdoor retailers have been selling licensed pattern decal kits from fender decals to window graphics for a few years.  Recently however, full wraps for vehicles have become more prevalent.

We have had the opportunity to work on some camo wrap projects here in the shop.  Our first project was working with Mossy Oak Graphics and Browning on a Camaro wrap for Kristy Lee Cook. Impressed with the quality, we again worked directly with Mossy Oak on a Dodge RAM pickup truck wrap in their “Brush” pattern.  On both occasions, the graphics were supplied to us by Mossy Oak directly, and we did the installation in house.  Their products are extremely high quality - in contrast with some camo graphics manufacturers, Mossy Oak uses premium 3M cast wrap vinyl and the highest quality 3M laminates.  Since they are the creators of the original patterns, the printing is in full HD and as best quality as you can get.  The mixture of HD digital printing, quality materials, and our install expertise made for great looking wrap installations - complete with great looks and satisfied customers!

Some customers were interested in a custom camo pattern; we have many at our disposal, so we found the pattern the clients liked best, and created some one-off custom camo wraps.  One in particular was for a hunting golf cart for a local client. Our client uses the cart to drive to and from his remote hunting locations.  The cart was brought to us and fitted with our own custom designed pattern.  We wrapped the hood, fenders, sides, and steering column of the cart.  The cart is completely silent when driven and now blends into the woods as well.  

Currently, we are also working on a custom camo wrap for one of the Robertson County Sheriff’s Department D.A.R.E vehicles.  Designed with the outdoorsman in mind, we are wrapping the car in one of our custom patterns together with orange reflective logos, symbolic of the reflective hunting vests.  It’s a great blend of fun, outdoor activities with the functionality of a municipal law vehicle.  Stay tuned for a project of the week write up on this project - it’s going to be a cool one!
