With offices throughout Middle Tennessee, we are happy to partner with Accurate Mortgage to fabricate their custom interior logo signs. We completed a sign for their Brentwood location earlier this year, and recently we finished two additional signs for their Franklin, TN and Huntsville, AL offices. For the Franklin office - located in the beautiful Westhaven community, we also provided the installation for the sign, which is the project featured in this edition of our Project of the Week blog series.

Since the logo signs are identical for each location, we did not have to go through any of the design process to complete the Westhaven sign. We started with a 1/8" thick brushed aluminum composite panel, consisting of a solid black plastic core with brushed aluminum faces. 

To the 48" W x 29.4" H panel, we laser cut pieces of acrylic to create the majority of the logo. We used 1/4" thick acrylic in standard dark blue and standard light blue.

There are a number of standard acrylic colors that can work with the vast amount of colors found in corporate logos. It's amazing how versatile the standard acrylic colors can be!

For the tagline on the sign (DIVISION OF ACOPIA LLC), we used cut vinyl lettering in dark gray. The use of the vinyl allows the acrylic (blue dimensional) portion of the logo to be more prominent than the smaller tagline of the company. 

The two blue colors look fantastic against the brushed aluminum face of the panel.

We installed the sign onto the wall of the office in Westhaven using four 1" diameter satin aluminum standoffs. The standoffs create a very finished look for the sign while providing additional dimension by keeping the sign panel a small distance away from the wall. 

The slight shadow around the edge of the sign shows the dimension created by the four brushed aluminum standoffs that anchor the logo sign to the drywall.
