Signs & More, Inc. had a challenge when it came to their client's complicated logo. The client wanted a custom office sign using their logo, but the many details within the logo artwork made it impossible to cut out of traditional sign materials such as PVC.
The creatives at Signs & More chose to tackle the challenge with elegant gold leaf cut vinyl applied to 1/2" thick clear acrylic. To give the sign a finished, professional touch with some interesting dimensionality, the sign was mounted to the wall with 1" metal standoffs.
As this great example shows, cut vinyl has moved well beyond its frequent use of "Joe's Plumbing" type lettering on utility vehicles!
As a useful sign maker's material, cut vinyl is available in a wide variety of solid colors in both flat and glossy finishes. Specialty vinyls are available to offer metallic and brushed finishes as well as unique appearances such as etched glass, carbon fiber, and reflective surfaces.
Cut vinyl is useful for both indoor and outdoor sign applications. There are various degrees of vinyl quality and performance characteristics, and your sign experts will assist in the recommendation and selection of the appropriate vinyl materials for your custom business sign.
