Storefront window signage is great real estate to use for broadcasting your brand and marketing message. Using large format printing processes, window signs can be fabricated in full color and can cover large areas.
Sometimes the message is short-lived (such as in the case of a store closing), and we'll recommend appropriate vinyl window wrap materials that are easily removable with little to no residue left behind.
In many circumstances, the window signs are intended for longer use and/or visibility through the signage is important. The following questions are important to consider when thinking about your window signs:
1. Do I want to be able to see through the window graphics from inside the building? Some window wrap materials are made with small holes and dark back surfaces so that from inside the building you can see through the window graphics to the outside during daylight hours. This type of perforated material is similar to what is used in a car window wrap.
2. What does my local zoning ordinance require for window signage? In some areas, window signs are required to be on the inside surface of the windows. In addition, some sign ordinance restricts the size of window signage to fall within some maximum percentage of the overall window area.
