Carbon Fiber Wraps Spotlight: Jeep Hood Wrap

Posted on August 22, 2011 | Posted by Katelyn Johns

One of the coolest wrap material we've worked with is a carbon fiber wrap material. It's offical name is 3M Di-Noc and boy, does it look mean on the road!

Designed to replicate the texture of carbon fiber, this wrap material goes smoothly over curves and edges of any car and from far away, almost has a velvet look. Personally, it's one of my favorite looks for cars after researching all kinds of car wraps.

Shown here is a Jeep with a carbon fiber hood wrap. Notice how sleek the texture looks around the edges by the headlights. The glossy black paint and the carbon fiber contrast beautifully.

The overall look is great. If you really want to customize your car or vehicle, a carbon fiber hood wrap is the way to go!

We've heard of people also wrapping their dashboard with carbon fiber wrap, resulting in a unique interior. Also, carbon fiber looks great on sport accessories, like spoilers.

FAQ's:

Is this wrap material permanent?

Although designed to withstand various tempuratures and weather conditions, this wrap is not completely permanent. If you wish to sell your car or vehicle in the future, the wrap can be removed carefully and the original paint will be left at its original value.

What is carbon fiber material?

It is a very unique material made in laboratories and designed to have an extremely good structure because of the complexity of the threading involved in the material.

Next time you consider personalizing your car or vehicle for your own use or for your business, think about using 12-Point SignWorks to install your carbon fiber wrap!
