Vinyl car wraps are a popular and cost-effective way to advertise your business. But what happens if your vehicle is involved in an accident? Do you have to have the whole vehicle wrap re-done? Businesses spend valuable advertising dollars on their vehicle wraps to promote their image and brand in a professional and highly visible method. If your vehicle is in an accident, you want to get that mobile billboard fixed - as fast as possible!
We recently created a custom car wrap design on a Nissan Cube for Apples Gone Wild - delectable dipped apples! The vinyl car wrap graphics were applied to all of the Cube's painted surfaces except for the roof and front bumper. Unfortunately, the Cube was struck by some road debris that led to a need for body repair on a windshield pillar. We were contacted to see what options there were to fix the wrap graphic on the freshly repaired section. We were provided with detailed pictures of the damaged area, and the design team determined which part of the car wrap print file to re-create.
Because vehicle wraps are composed of panels, we can isolate the damaged area, re-print the needed graphic using our large format printing capabilities, and apply. Although you'll have to check with your insurance provider, it is possible that the cost of repairing the vinyl car wrap will be covered by your vehicle insurance.
My recommendation is if your wrapped vehicle is ever in some sort of accident or incident, take as many relevant pictures of the damage as possible in order to communicate the damages. Once the physical body damage is fixed, we can manufacture the new vinyl wrap pieces and get you back to advertising your business as fast as possible, putting those advertising dollars back to great use.
