Growing Exposure: Trailer Graphics For Landscape Companies

Posted on March 28, 2012 | Posted by Rich Novia

Landscaping and hardscaping has been a thriving industry for a very long time, and vehicle and trailer graphics are an important aspect of both branding and advertising.  Many landscaping companies have multiple transport vehicles and often transport their equipment in enclosed trailers from location to location. These vehicles and trailers provide advertising exposure outside all day, every day in front of each location as mobile billboards for a landscaper's business.  Naturally, it seems advantageous to use that space to advertise one's business and services.  The advantages of using trailers for promotion are endless, and the flat surface sides of the trailers are a great "canvas" to work with.  Bold, colorful graphics and straight-forward information are eye-catching and easy to read for new potential clients. The company name, contact info, services offered, and some creative company branding goes a long way to create effective trailer graphics.

We often work on projects with landscaping trailers.  From digital prints to cut vinyl, we find the right solution for each client, based on their specific needs. Approaching the project, we always begin with what content, size, and brand specs are provided by our client. Each trailer has its own specs as well; side doors, v-nose, riveted, non-riveted sides, etc. Once the trailer has been surveyed, we begin the art process to create the layout of the graphics.

The creative process goes through the usual approval process, then scheduling of the install can take place.  Using highest quality cast vinyls on these trailers is a must; they are often put to the test, getting covered in mud, grass, debris, and sometimes pulled through tight areas where brush and branches can snag the graphics.  The right materials will improve durability, help with ease of install with rivets, and last considerably longer.  Contact 12-Point Signworks for your next landscape trailer graphics project!
