Christmas Movie Sign Trivia From 12-Point SignWorks!

Merry Christmas to one and all from 12-Point Signworks! If you follow our Twitter account, you may have noticed or participated in our Classic Christmas Movie Monday trivia game. We’ve been posting pictures of signs, posters, and whathaveyou from Christmas movies and encouraging people to guess where they came from. Whether you have or haven’t been following along, here’s a special extended version for Christmas! Guess which movie each of following signs is from:

Classic Christmas Sign Lettering

Metal sign letters for the Bailey Brothers Building & Loan Association. Do you remember who the Bailey Brother's are?

Hint: These sign letters belong to a film that released in 1946.

Duncan's Toy Chest surrounded by twinkle lights and filled with toys is definitely a Christmas wonderland.

Hint: This electrical toy store sign is featured in a Christmas sequel.

Hint: This film's leading lady was born in Dublin, Ireland.

Vermont Should Be Beautiful This Time of Year"Vermont should be beautiful this time of year, all that snow and everything." Which movie has this poster to accompany a song? (Bonus points to anyone who can name the song they're singing.)

Hint: Despite its wintry setting, this movie was actually filmed at the Paramount and 20th Century Fox Studios in Los Angeles, California.

Hint: Mickey Rooney voices Santa Claus again in this film, but the movie is narrated by Fred Astaire.

World's Best Cup of CoffeeHere's a pretty easy one. This movie's protagonist get's really excited about a sign advertising the "World's Best Cup of Coffee."

Hint: The World's Best Cup of Coffee is located in New York City.

It's Turbo Time!Maybe this one isn't a classic, but it is a Christmas movie! This electric sign on a parade float comes from which Christmas movie?

Hint: Jake Lloyd (or as we know him, the little kid who played Anakin Skywalker) plays this man's son.

9.

Tis the Season to be JollyHoliday dinners at the Bowling Chop Suey Palace Co. Is there anything better?

Hint: The waiters at this restaurant sing "Deck the Halls" to the family eating a duck dinner in this movie.

10.

SANTAAnd finally, this giant Vegas-style Santa sign! Mr. Claus is not afraid to get flashy, it seems.

Hint: This is part of a trilogy of Christmas movies.
