Trade Show Displays for Williamson County Schools Infothon!

Posted on July 25, 2014 | Posted by Brooke Randell

This Saturday, July 26, Williamson County Schools (WCS) is holding an "Infothon" at the Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin, TN to provide information for parents and children as the new school year is less than a month away! School superintendent Dr. Mike Looney will be there along with representatives from every branch of the WCS including:

Budget & Finance Food Services Athletics
Communications Human Resources Parent Organizations
Pre-K Transportation Facilities & Construction
Career & Technical Education Health Services Bus Routes
SACC Teaching Learning & Assessment School Board

In addition to a plethora of booths and kiosks, local school groups will be doing performances throughout the day. Franklin High School singers, the Sunset Middle School string orchestra, Ravenwood High School forensics performers, and the Hot Shots jump rope team will all be there showing off their skills.

For anyone living in Williamson County with kids, this will be a great opportunity to get a jump start on back-to-school questions and requirements.

We were asked by the Food Services department to create trade show displays for this event that showcase their focus on healthy eating habits. Their kiosk will have two standing retractable banners that are easy to carry and pack up, and a large pop up curved trade show wall that is made of an expanding frame that pulls out to extend to its full size. Only about 15 pounds of banner to carry and it can all be put up in less than 10 minutes!

The designs for the retractable banners are digitally printed directly onto a smooth vinyl banner material allowing vibrant, crisp colors that really pop and catch the attention of anyone passing by.  The curved pop-up wall uses a different kind of printed material.  Because it has a collapsible aluminum frame for convenient storage, it uses a fabric print that gets stretched when the pop-up wall is fully extended.

The lightweight metal frame for the curved wall expands into shape and then holds the tensioned fabric in place using hook and loop attachments.

We hope their banners and display help get a lot of parents interested in talking about healthy food options for their children this school year! If you'd like to check out the Infothon, it will be taking place at the Cool Springs Galleria at 1800 Galleria Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
