Vehicle wraps are the most effective method of advertising in today's market, and there are many options available for making a vehicle one-of-a-kind on the road. Full, partial and window wraps offer affordable options for large and small businesses alike. You may be wondering: Is it really worth it? You bet! Vehicle wraps offer the lowest cost-per-impression rate out of all forms of advertising media.

We realize that not everyone has $3,000 to spend on a vehicle wrap. Perforated window vinyl offers an option for mobile advertising on a budget! Considering a vehicle wrap can gather 30,000 to 70,000 views per day, even an advertisement on a rear window can create effective customer awareness. Something is better than nothing, right?
When we install window graphics at our shop, we use the highest quality products. Our material of choice is the Oracal 3675 Perforated Window Film. With a three year rating, this film has the longest durability of any perforated window vinyl on the market. The perforated window film, as opposed to regular, non-perforated vinyl, has specially designed micropunctures on 50% of its surface. This design offers a unique one-way appearance where the graphic appears to be opaque on the outside; however, there is complete visibility from the inside.
After we digitally print the custom graphic on the Oracal 3675 film, we use Oracal ORAGUARD 290GF Optically Clear Premium Cast Overlaminate. This material was developed especially for lamination of the perforated window vinyl. The Oracal 290GF overlaminate protects the perforated window vinyl from humidity, dust and other contaminates. We also prefer the Oracal 290GF overlaminate because it has the longest life span (when compared to other manufacturers) and does a fabulous job of preventing haze on the window. We have found that some installers do not laminate the perforated window vinyl, which causes the printed graphics to fade faster. When not laminated, the perforations can also collect dirt and water, which eventually results in reduced visibility for the driver. We definitely don't want that to happen!
Now for some photos! Window wraps can be done alone or as part of a partial or full wrap design. Either option creates customer awareness of your product or service 24/7, 365 days of the year, rain or shine...see the value?
We installed only the perforated window vinyl on this vehicle,
but you will still notice it on the road!
Perforated window vinyl was just part of the design for this vehicle wrap.
When the graphics are printed on the perforated window vinyl, the colors become a little more muted than how they appear on non-perforated vinyl. If you do not need to see out of your windows (and you are driving legally!), we can install a regular vinyl wrap to ensure the graphics stay consistent throughout the entire design.
We originally used perforated window vinyl for the Nashville K-9 vehicle wrap; however,
the owner decided he wanted regular vinyl to make sure that the graphics did not look faded.
Here are some interesting facts about mobile advertising provided by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America:
- The average American has traveled 302 miles in the past 7 days.
- Depending on city and population size, one vehicle wrap can generate between 30,000 and 70,000 impressions each day.
- More than 95% of Americans are reached by media targeting vehicle drivers and passengers.
- A Federal Highway Administration study projects a sharp increase in the amount of time spent in personal vehicles and the number of trips made in a vehicle per household.
