There are few things in life more enjoyable than great food! Just the thought of hash brown and poblano casserole tacos or warm carne asada tacos with a nice helping of fresh guacamole is enough to make my mouth water!

In the greater Nashville and surrounding areas, we’re experiencing a food truck “phenomenon!” With the accelerated growth of Nashville, as well as the abundance of outdoor concerts, festivals and other events, food trucks are quickly becoming one of our favorite attractions as patrons seek out delicious, unique foods...often for the first time!

At 12-Point SignWorks, we “savor” the opportunity to partner with restaurants and local chefs to create eye-catching custom advertising wraps for food trucks and catering vehicles. For these food aficionados, vinyl wraps offer what no other form of marketing can: 24-hour visibility each and every day of the year!

One of the most recent food trucks we had the pleasure to custom wrap was for our friend, Danny Bua. His mobile restaurant, That Awesome Taco Truck, just had its grand opening this month. After working in some of Boston’s finest restaurants for nearly 20 years, he was ready for a new culinary scene. So now, he’s bringing his passion for upscale, creative interpretations of classic Mexican food to the streets of Nashville!

That Awesome Taco Truck recently received a new eye-catching advertising wrap.

To create That Awesome Taco Truck, 12-Point received original artwork from Danny. Our graphic designer extraordinaire then modified the artwork to fit the truck’s dimensions and to avoid placing graphics on door latches, hardware, and rub rails (the long metal strips designed to protect the sides of the truck). Our designer also created a custom-printed license plate to match the overall look of the truck.

The wrap was printed on high-performance wrap vinyl with a protective UV gloss laminate and was installed on the truck at our 12-Point shop. You can now find that Awesome Taco Truck serving upscale Mexican food in areas surrounding Nashville!

Another client of ours, Juan Navarette, came all the way from San Diego to open his own authentic mexican restaurant on wheels, Catarina’s Mexican Inspired Flavors! His specialties include Mexican-inspired tacos, tortas, and other dishes prepared fresh every day. You can see Juan’s truck mainly around Murfreesboro, but he plans to soon expand into Nashville and Franklin.

Catarina's Mexican Inspired Flavors recently received a new custom-designed partial advertising wrap. 

To create the Catarina’s food truck, we started with the Catarina logo, which Juan provided. Our designer worked with Juan to conceptualize the full truck design. Upon approval, the design was then printed on high performance vinyl with a protective gloss laminate. The wrap consisted of a long strip of vinyl on each side, which looks like graffiti, as well as the logo and social media icons. In addition to the wrap, we also installed shelving on the serving side. Look for Catarina’s food truck the next time you’re in Murfreesboro!

As you can see, both food trucks are attractive and very effective at drawing attention! However, the wrap designs are quite different. We wrapped That Awesome Taco Truck with a partial wrap, covering the majority of all sides, as well as cut vinyl on the doors and the front hood. On the other hand, Catarina’s food truck also has a partial wrap, but there are printed graphics only on the sides. Depending on the look you’re trying to achieve (and the budget you’re working within), there are a variety of options and price points that we can offer. Either way you choose, we can assure you that your vehicle will look amazing and get noticed!
