Vehicle Advertising: How To Get Noticed Without Breaking the Bank!

Posted on June 27, 2019 | Posted by Kris Williamson

We spend a lot of time talking about full coverage vehicle wraps. After all, they’re a great investment and definitely get attention. But they can also be expensive for many of our small business customers. That’s why we offer lower cost vehicle advertising alternatives that will still keep the customers rolling in: partial wraps and vehicle graphics!

Partial wraps

Partial wraps offer a professional look at a fraction of the cost of a full coverage wrap. A partial wrap covers 25 - 75% of a vehicle’s painted surfaces. Because the vehicle’s paint will be exposed, it’s important that the wrap design complements the paint color.

Partial van wrap for DogSafe by 12-Point SignWorks in Franklin, TN. The owner of DogSafe was smart to incorporate a caution sign into his logo. What a great way to get his brand noticed!

The photo above shows a great example of a partial wrap we printed, cut and installed for DogSafe. The printed graphics include a dog’s silhouette inside a yellow caution sign, the DogSafe logo on the door, black and yellow striped pieces of vinyl on the front and back bumpers and contact information on the doors. We love how this van catches your attention and you know right away what this company is all about. And guess what...this cost the business owner less than half of a full coverage wrap. That’s a great investment!

Printed Vinyl Graphics

Printed vinyl graphics (often called decals) contain company logos or other artwork which are digitally printed on high performance adhesive vinyl. They cover less than 25% of the vehicle’s painted surfaces. We typically laminate vinyl graphics and can also contour cut them to the shape of the graphic.

Cut Vinyl Graphics

In addition to printed vinyl, we also offer cut vinyl as another low cost option. We create cut vinyl graphics by cutting letters, icons or shapes out of single-color vinyl material that we carry in our shop. (We can also custom order colors that we don’t typically carry.) This vinyl is already laminated and also has an adhesive backing for easy installation.
