Where do you display your corporate mission statement signage?

Posted on July 16, 2015 | Posted by Kris Williamson

Is it tucked away in your office policy manual? Is it listed on a page of your website? Do you have it filed away in a box with your original business plan? If you have to stop and think about the answer, or if you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, this blog post is just for you!

A mission statement is a summary of the core purpose and focus of a company, organization or individual. In other words, does your mission accurately describe what you're doing? It should! These simple sentences state the essence of your company's goals and let your employees, customers, vendors and the community know what you are all about. This.Is.Important. When something is this significant, it should be visible!

You can display your corporate mission statement as...

A Foamboard Poster (or two or three...)

Foamboard posters provide flexibility for design and display. We digitally print a full color image onto adhesive vinyl and mount it onto ultraboard. The final product is lightweight yet durable. Posters can be installed on a wall, placed in a window, hung from a ceiling, or even featured on an easel. Since a mission statement can be a single sentence or a small paragraph, foamboard posters can accommodate any size with ease. The photo above shows four of the eleven mission statement posters designed by Birdsong Creative and fabricated by our 12-Point team for Oasis Church in Nashville.

A Wall Murals & Graphics

Custom wallcoverings can be used in commercial and residential spaces. They can be incorporated into your interior design. You can design them around any room that will be exposed to lots of traffic.

When wallcoverings aren't what you need, wall graphics or cut vinyl lettering can be installed to make a statement.

Murals and graphics are ideal for walls that are positioned front and center in an office or retail space. Wall murals can be customized with colors, photographs, logos, original designs and other images with the mission statement included. If your company specializes in only one product, the image may be all you need to convey the purpose of your company.

For a simpler approach, wall graphics or cut vinyl lettering can be installed on open wall space. In the photo above, a bolder accent color was painted onto the wall before the words were added. A note about wall coverings and paint: Low-VOC and zero-VOC paints can cause adhesion problems. The paint also needs time to cure before wallcoverings can be installed. We can test an area to check the paint if you aren't sure what kind is on your wall.

A Banner

Banners offer mobility for displaying your company's purpose and focus. Although it could end up in a permanent space (oops! forget something?), a custom banner is perfect for temporary advertising. Consider using a banner for community and public events. Fabricated out of durable vinyl material with strategically placed grommets, the banners can hang from tables, tents, buildings, windows and office spaces.

Custom Acrylic Signage

Acrylic material can be used alone or in combination with other materials to create a simple and effective display. The signage can hang on its own or in a collection with other signs. The photo above shows a logo sign for Advanced Scientifics (ASI) that was created a year before the mission statement signage was added. Combining the acrylic material with vinyl, metal, wood or even more acrylic creates a dimensional look that really stands out.

We always welcome a challenge and will help you create the type of display that will definitely be noticed. There are so many unique, classy and stylish display options for your mission statement signage. We can find the perfect one that emulates your brand or service.
