Why You Should Consider a Custom Architectural Display for Your Office

Posted on October 31, 2019 | Posted by Kris Williamson

Some of our favorite projects come to us from customers who are ready to step out of the ordinary. They need office signage, but want to create something unique. That’s when we suggest a custom architectural display. These one of a kind dimensional works of art are not only attractive, but they can also be designed to be interchangeable.

Architectural Display for First Company Management in Brentwood, TN by 12-Point SignWorks. We designed, fabricated & installed this very cool display of musical artists for First Company Management.

We use a wide range of hardware elements when we fabricate architectural displays, such as standoffs, stainless steel rods, truss assemblies and acrylic panels or pockets (for documents and images.) One of the most intriguing aspects of this type of display is its flexibility. We can design an architectural display to allow certain elements to be easily removed or replaced.

Architectural displays can be used as stand alone structures or as part of a larger environmental branding package. They’re commonly used for the following purposes:

  1. Employee Recognition
  2. Product Displays
  3. Project Highlights
  4. Historical Timelines
  5. Directory Signage
  6. Photo Displays
  7. Art
  8. and more!

Cable display systems (another type of architectural display) use tensioned steel cabling to stretch between wall-mounted or ceiling-to-floor anchors. Decorative sign panels, shelves and clear acrylic sign holders can be attached to the cabling with hardware that helps to create unique and professional-looking custom displays.
