1st Summit Bank recently renovated its Richland branch in Johnstown, PA to create a more comfortable and innovative banking experience. We worked with international design+build firm NewGround to implement the environmental graphics throughout the new space. NewGround’s Studio One25 design team provided the design direction, and 12-Point enjoyed the opportunity to fabricate and install several components of the branding graphics package.  Let’s take a look at the beautiful contemporary colors, acrylic displays and custom etched privacy vinyl that were used in this project!

Visitors are sure to take notice of this custom dimensional display! 

Acrylic Display Panels and Wallcovering

We installed a striking 3-panel acrylic display above the counter in the hospitality area (pictured above.) A bold “mulberry”-colored gradient graphic printed on high performance vinyl was installed on the wall to create a backdrop. The three 48” x 24” panels were fabricated from ¼” non-glare acrylic. We printed semi-translucent black and white graphics on the second surface (or back) of the acrylic. We then laser cut the letters out of the acrylic to spell “JOHNSTOWN” across the panels. 

Our installers attached the panels to the wall using satin finish aluminum standoffs. What a beautiful way to bring a sense of community and a welcoming feel to the local branch!

Reception Logo Sign

This brushed metal lettering brought an instantly up-scale look to the branch.

The words “1ST SUMMIT BANK” were installed on the wall behind the reception desk. These 1” deep letters were fabricated from beautiful brushed stainless steel.

Dimensional Lettering and Vinyl Wall Graphics

These dimensional acrylic letters and cut vinyl really stand out against this painted wall.

We installed white dimensional acrylic letters that say “EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE” and a contour cut 1st Summit Bank vinyl logo with a white satin finish on the curved wall in the branch’s lobby. This wall was painted a bold mulberry to match other branded elements throughout the office.

Etched Vinyl

We cut two different designs for these windows. Beautiful!

The newly renovated space also contains several offices with large glass doors and windows. We contour cut the company’s brand mark out of etched vinyl material. The window film was installed second surface on various glass doors throughout the office. We love this elegant look!

Acrylic Photo Displays

Check out the glossy, almost glass-like surface on this second surface printed acrylic display!

Black and white photos were digitally accented with bold color accents and then printed second surface onto ⅜” acrylic photo displays of various sizes. These striking displays were placed on the walls in offices and conference rooms.

NewGround did an excellent job designing a welcoming branded environment for 1st Summit Bank’s customers. In addition to these custom environmental graphics, we also fabricated and installed poster display systems, teller wall signs, drive up hours, door displays and more.
