Backwall Displays Add Elegant Touch to Beautifully Broken Film Premieres

Did you know that our quaint, historic town of Franklin, TN, (located just south of Nashville) is a perfect setting for star-studded events? On August 20, two red carpet premieres of the new faith-based film, Beautifully Broken, were held at the Franklin Theatre and The Factory at Franklin. We were honored to help provide the elegant backwall displays for both events!

For this project, we worked with Icon Media Group (IMG), a Nashville based full-service marketing agency, to print and install the backwall displays. We’ve helped create displays for IMG premieres in other cities over the past few years, including the movies: I Can Only Imagine, I’m Not Ashamed, and Caged.

Also known as tensioned fabric displays, backwall displays consist of a lightweight tubular aluminum frame with a fabric “pillowcase.” The printed pillowcase pulls over the frame and zips into place, creating tension to smooth and flatten the graphic.

Backwall displays are perfect for red carpet events, such as movie premieres, because they’re easy to setup and take down. They’re also lightweight and come with a carrying case so they can be easily transported. In addition to movie premieres, tensioned fabric displays are great for tradeshows and other special events.

IMG provided the artwork for the “step and repeat” graphics. Step and repeat means the logo or artwork is repeated on the background to create a simple, but beautiful backdrop, perfect for red carpet photographs. For the Beautifully Broken fabric displays, the graphic was printed on the front panel, and the back panel was black. The fabric on backwall displays can be printed double-sided, and color options for the back panel include black or white.

The executive producers, director, cast members, and other special guests attended both premieres. As you can see, the two displays (one was 8’ x 8’ and the other was 10’ x 8’) helped create a high-end, branded look for the group photographs in both locations.

Beautifully Broken was released nationwide in more than 650 theaters on Friday. This movie tells the true story of three families living in different parts of the world whose lives cross in an unexpected way. Each of the families become involved in tragedies that are beyond their control, but they find hope in God’s love and guidance despite their circumstances. As their journeys unfold, they learn first hand the power of forgiveness and reconciliation, and the healing that comes when they have the opportunity to help others.
