This is the first post to a blog we intend to use as a means of highlighting some of our favorite custom sign and graphics projects.  We hope you'll find it both interesting and educational regarding our services and capabilities in the area of custom commercial signage.

Normally, we'll highlight a single project.  In this first post, however, we're going to share two very different projects with the goal of communicating the diversity of our services.

Custom partial truck wrap for D.A.R.E fleet vehicle

Late last month we were contacted by the Robertson County Sheriff's Department to help design a custom partial truck wrap for the first of their D.A.R.E. vehicle fleet. This particular truck was seized from a local drug cartel by the Sheriff's department, and we took on the job converting it into a drug awareness vehicle using a custom designed partial vehicle wrap. Sgt. Clark of the Robertson County Sheriff's Department helped us with the project direction and was very helpful in articulating the message this truck needs to communicate.

Given the truck's custom paint job and custom accessories, we were challenged with designing a partial wrap to compliment the physical features of the truck. Our art department went to work finding colors, textures, and elements to give this truck a tough, bold look to help pass on the message about the war on drugs to students and youth.  Using some digital die-cut capabilities, we created bright, vivid graphics to apply to the truck, giving it a show car look. This partial vehicle wrap was a fun project, and we hope the mobile advertising helps youth make correct decisions. We thank the Robertson County Sheriff's Department and Sgt. Custom 3-dimensional logo sign

As the second project to highlight in this first Project Of The Week post, we thought it would be very appropriate to include a custom logo sign done this past year that showcases some of our more intricate sign design and fabrication capabilities.  Heritage Properties Inc. comissioned us to design and build a dimensional logo lobby sign to compliment their attractive lobby.  We started from the company's 2-dimensional logo file, learned about the decor and "look" of the reception area, and ultimately developed an elegant 3-dimensional sign.  We gave the sign depth from all angles by using various substrates (wood, frosted acrylic, dimensional letters, and cast aluminum).
