This week’s project is very cool.  Rolling Video Games is a company that offers mobile gaming for parties, events, etc.  We were approached to help them with their signage for their locations, and mobile arcades.  We had an idea for a dimensional logo sign, but wanted to utilize the influences of the gaming industry, and the culture behind it.  Armed with their logo in vector format, we began looking at how to stack the look of the logo sign, giving it depth, and a sense of professionalism.  

Starting with various thickness and colors of PVC, we had each layer and letter individually CNC machined out of the necessary colors.  The main backdrop panel is ½” thick black PVC, with the yellow and red text being in ¼” yellow and red PVC.   Since the logo has a wheel and tire for the “o” in the logo, we used some raised black PVC as the tire, and stacked a white PVC rim on top, capping it together with real bolts as the 5 lug nuts.

This process makes for a really cool, fun, and visually appealing logo sign.  Mounted in all the mobile arcades, these logos set the tone for the fun atmosphere this company creates.
