We were contacted by the Kentucky Corn Growers Association to apply some large graphic panels to their trailers. The company had some artwork and pictures, and provided us with some media needed to create the graphics to scale, given the size of the wrapped areas. We began with finalizing the files and proofing them to the client. Once approved, we began the manufacturing process in printing, laminating, and cutting them to size. The install was to be taking place at their facility in Kentucky, about an hour or so from our Franklin, TN facility.
During production, we had received pictures of the trailers from the client, so we were able to see the unique surfaces we were to be working with. Similar to a corrugated metal surface, they are a polished, horizontally ribbed surface, with the usual rivets for mounting as you would see on most trailers. This posed a bit of a challenge regarding install, seeing as the panels will have to be applied to the concaves and raised ribs of the trailers. The unique ribbed surface was an added difficulty, as the installers had to not only give every single rivet that was covered by vinyl attention, they had to make sure the vinyl was applied right in order to adhere and stay in between the ribbed areas. Using a combination of excellent skills, and the right tools, our installers were able to apply the graphics without an issue.
We would like to thank the Kentucky Corn Growers Association for allowing us to service their graphics needs, and providing us with a clean, temperature controlled facility to work in during the 2 day install. The Association seems very happy with the way the wraps turned out, and make sure you keep an eye out on the roads to see where some of the best corn in the nation comes from!
