This year Nissan sponsored the Music City Marathon, a race through Nashville where participants get to experience the scenic views of the city to the sounds of over 50 bands playing on 28 live entertainment stages. This year’s chosen pace car, a 2013 Nissan Leaf, was brought to us to be wrapped in the co-branded graphics for the Music City Marathon and Nissan. The car came to us in silver originally, and the graphics were all black for the vehicle wrap.
Challenged with a small window of time for install, we had two installers team up to work on the custom wrap in order to meet the required deadline. Dedicating a full day to the install, we were able to finish the wrap for the promotional events leading up to the marathon on the Saturday date. The vehicle was picked up at our facility by the marketing team and delivered to the convention center in downtown Nashville for display on Thursday and Friday. Saturday, the vehicle ran out front of the racers and participants throughout the marathon event, and was front and center for all the ceremonies and meetings leading up to the start of the race. Saturday afternoon after the conclusion of the race, we met up with the marketing team for Nissan and removed the wrap from the vehicle. Overall, the project was fast paced, yet fun to be a part of, if only for a few days!
