Delta Bound, a local food vending company, recently reached out to us to help them develop some graphics for the new trailer they were having custom built for their food vending venture. We met with the owners while the trailer was being built in Florida in order to speed up the process for when they finally took delivery of the trailer. They had some vector artwork prepared, so it was just a matter of coming up with sizing and placement based off a similar trailer design.
We proposed a digital print at first, but the client didn't want to have an outline around the logo (which is customary for a digital die-cut print). Given that their logo is distressed and complicated, layered cut vinyl options would have been too labor intensive. Meeting the customer in the middle, we did a color match on the red painted trailer and were able to digitally print the large logos with a spot on match for the red. As a result, we were able to offer the customer more options for graphics fabrication and the "end look," while keeping the distressed qualitites of his logo.
The custom digitally printed die-cut graphics approach also made installation a bit easier, and there are many fewer failure points on the decals as well. To finish off the trailer graphics and give Delta Bound more opporunities to reach clients via social media, we added facebook and twitter information as well as the company web address. The overall design and layout is simple, yet it allows the company to add more graphic elements and info as they grow and add more products. We appreciate the opportunity to work with them, and make sure you check out www.delta-bound.com to see where to find them and their great food!
