In order to brand their building in Murfreesboro TN with their new orthodontic practice logo, Dr. Anthony Ditcharo asked us to fabricate an exterior building sign. The logo has some interesting features that played well into the design and construction of a three dimensional or 3D logo sign. We knew we would have some fun with this one!
The blocks at the bottom of the logo are representative of the hardware used in orthodontics, and we knew it would look great to create them as dimensional pieces that would pop out from the main sign panel. The orange and white text could also have been done as dimensional letters, but for budgetary considerations these features were planned into the printed graphics instead.
In order to give the sign some additional "pop" off the wall, we planned to fasten the logo sign to the building's brick exterior using satin finish aluminum standoff hardware. And the results? We think it looks great!
The main sign panel was fabricated using a 1/4" thick exterior grade aluminum composite panel, and the printed graphics were finished with a protective UV matte laminate to reduce glare off the sign. The dimensional blocks are 1/2" thick acrylic.
An attractive logo, developed into an attractive three dimensional outdoor logo sign - sure to help clients find the building, but also to help attract new clients!
