A partial car wrap for My Veggie Chef Honda Fit

A well-designed partial car wrap can help even a small car pack a big advertising punch with effective vinyl wrap graphics.  Check out the great looking partial wrap we did on the Honda Fit for My Veggie Chef, Nashville's first vegan meal delivery service

When we first saw the logo for My Veggie Chef, we knew right away that we wanted to take advantage of the fact that both the logo and the car incorporated orange hues.  And we think we pulled it off well with this attractive partial car wrap!  The additional lettering was fabricated from white cut vinyl.

What is a partial car wrap?  As you can imagine, it implies that only part of the vehicle is covered with graphics.  We'll add additional clarification from our own perspective that a partial wrap is not just decals or lettering.  Rather, a partial car wrap involves premium digitally printed vinyl with a protective UV laminate, and as shown on the My Veggie Chef Honda Fit, the graphics can be creatively cut to unique and custom contours.

Sometimes we might refer to a 1/4 wrap, a 1/2 wrap, or a 3/4 wrap, and roofs are not typically wrapped except for smaller cars or for larger vehicles where having graphics on the roof can actually broadcast a branding and/or selling message to potential clients viewing the roof graphics from above (i.e., in cities with tall buildings or in situations such as vehicles used around stadiums).

We wrote about the partial wrap design process when we previously discussed our work on the SouthCentral A/V Prius, and we followed up that work with a partial wrap on the company's Scion xB as well.

When a partial vehicle wrap is designed to take advantage of key body lines and to accentuate critical information in more limited areas, such a vehicle wrap can still be very effective for branding and mobile advertising purposes without having to cost as much as a full wrap.  Then again, if your vehicle happens to be a color that's just darn ugly or that clashes with your graphics, a full wrap might well be in order!
