Architectural display system creates an attractive recognition wall

Atlanta-based Choate Construction Company has developed a strong reputation of successful commercial building, and they've received the award certificates to prove it! Choate's staff developed the idea of a "reputation wall" for their headquarters office and brought the concept to us for evaluation and completion. Given the accolades Choate has received, it was a privilege for us to be chosen to help them fulfill such a high-profile display system.

We put together kits of attractive architectural dislay hardware using braided stainless steel cable and satin-finish aluminum connection hardware. We also designed custom acrylic fold-over pockets into which Choate could easily slip 8.5 x 11 paper certificates. The fold-over design allows Choate to replace the paper inserts at will.

The finishing detail for the wall was a set of attractive brushed aluminum dimensional letters 3/8" thick and 6" tall that spell out the phrase "Reputation is Everything." The letters were fabricated with "studs" (threaded metal rods) that stick out on the back surfaces of the letters, and these studs are inserted into holes drilled into the wall to hold the letters in place.

Because this office is a few hours from our own facility in Nashville, Choate opted to coordinate the installation of the display system and aluminum letters. To simplify the installation process for them, we developed installation templates that provided the correct spacing for the attachment hardware to the wall. This ensured that the cables would be spaced uniformly to accommodate the acrylic pockets. We also provided an installation template for the dimensional letters that marked the locations for the studs.

We use both cable and stainless steel rods to create attractive architectural dislay systems.  Let us know how we can help you with your display ideas and requirements!
