Anyone who grew up watching Hanna-Barbera cartoons on their Saturday mornings will recognize the friendly faces of Yogi Bear and his bow-tie wearing buddy Boo Boo. Now, anyone with a yen to go camping will be able to see their faces cruising along the streets of Cave City, KY!

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camping Resort in Cave City, KY is a more than just camping—it's an experience. The family-friendly resort offers 63 air-conditioned cabins that include free wifi, satellite TV, bathrooms, and kitchens for families that want to experience the outdoors but keep all the comforts and amenities of home while doing so. 

But the amenities don't stop at the cabins! Jellystone Park also offers a mini golf course, a pool, a 300' water slide, a giant "Jumping Pillow" for kids to bounce on, and (of course) appearances by Yogi Bear and friends. Although Yogi Bear's Camp Resorts are franchised across the United States, the one located in Cave City is particularly fortunate to be located right next to Mammoth Cave National Park, so families can enjoy day trips hiking and exploring ancient caves.

The franchise owners of the Cave City Camp Jellystone contacted us because they wanted to get a vehicle wrap on one of their work vehicles that advertised their camp resort and showed off the fun and nostalgic artwork of Hanna-Barbera. They decided to go with a partial vehicle wrap because—by wrapping the lower half of the vehicle—it appears to cover the entire van while using less material. This is a great budget-friendly tactic to use because you will end up paying for less material and installation time overall. 

Our graphic designers designed the wrap by using vector stock images of the Yogi Bear characters that came straight from Hanna-Barbera! 

Because the there is solid design in the half of the vehicle below the windows, it appears to be covering more of the van than it actually is because it's covering a large part of the painted area. 

Because we went through the process of several revisions and getting to a final client-approved design, the whole graphic design process took about a week. After that everything else was a cinch! We printed the panels out in one day and gave them time to cure. After that, our installers were able to apply the design in only four and a half hours. 

It really doesn't take a whole lot of vinyl to make a big impact on a vehicle. 

This was a great marketing choice for the camp resort because advertising vehicle wraps have proven to be one of the most effective form of advertising and the best value for your marketing dollar. Depending on where the camp workers drive this van, the graphics and contact information on the bumper can potentially be seen by thousands of people per day. If even only a fraction of those who see the van decide to vacation at the camp, the wrap will pay for itself in no time!
