An Advertising Wrap for Our Local You've Got MAIDS® Franchise

Posted on October 13, 2014 | Posted by Kris Williamson

In August of this year, we were approached by Sandi Morey of You've Got MAIDS to design an advertising wrap for the cars in her new company! Sandi recently brought You've Got MAIDS to Nashville and realizes the benefits of having mobile advertising. Rich Novia, our Director of Wrap Installation, met with Sandi to talk about what she wanted to accomplish with the advertising wraps for the You've Got MAIDS cars. They looked at different wrap designs from other You've Got MAIDS franchises across the country. In the end, they came up with a design unique and versatile to Sandi's very own Nashville franchise.

You've Got MAIDS advertising wrap for a Chevy Aveo. 12-Point SignWorksWe designed the partial advertising wrap for this Chevy Aveo that will work for either white or yellow vehicles.

Knowing that Sandi has white and yellow cars in her You've Got MAIDS fleet, Rich created a design with a yellow fade that can fit either base color. This saves time and keeps design costs down since we will not need to adjust the design each time a different color of vehicle comes in to be wrapped. He also made sure that the design included the corporate logo and slogan for You've Got MAIDS.

Rich used a stock photo piece for the bubbles to create the sudsy look on the side of the car and also on the back window. The bubbles offer a subtle yet striking visual element to the design of the wrap. They also tie in the fact that bubbles = clean!

The overall budget for every project we do often determines the extent of the wrap coverage on a vehicle. For this project, we created a partial wrap that extends from just above the back bumper to just around the front bumper of the car. Instead of installing vinyl to the hood of the car, Sandi chose to have the You've Got MAIDS phone number installed on the back window. The phone number, along with her website on the rear bumper, guarantees that anyone traveling behind a You've Got MAIDS car will know how to contact them for service!

Looking for the technical details for this advertising wrap? Here you go! For the body of the car, we digitally printed the custom design on Avery MPI 1005 vinyl with an Avery DOL 1060 overlaminate. For the back window, we used Oracal perforated window film with an Oracal ORAGUARD 290GF optically clear laminate. We prefer the Oracal laminate because it has the longest life span (when compared to other manufacturers) and does a fabulous job preventing haze on the window.

We really enjoy helping new businesses in the area expand their advertising with a vehicle wrap. We welcome Sandi and her husband, Michael, to the area and wish them luck with their You've Got MAIDS franchise! They focus on "honest relationships and a foundation of trust and great customer service." Sandi is passionate about this business and will personally come to your home to provide you with an estimate. The You've Got MAIDS services are available in Nashville, Brentwood, Cool Springs and Franklin. What are you waiting for? Give them a call or fill out a form on their website for a free estimate!
