These vibrant retractable banners are sure to catch attention as people pass by!

We first met Blake Shelton (nope...not the singer! :-) ) back in 2017. He asked us to design, print and install an advertising wrap for his 2015 Ford Transit Connect. He owns a landscaping company and needed a way to not only transport cargo, but also advertise his business. A new vehicle wrap was the perfect choice! Here’s a look at the very cool van wrap we installed for Blake.

Although a vehicle wrap is great when you’re driving around town or even parked, you can’t typically drive your vehicle into conventions or events. So, Blake decided to look into free-standing, portable signage options. He saw our article about retractable banners (also called roll up banners) and asked us to fabricate three for him to use in trade show booths or also just to stand alone as needed.

Our designer used Blake’s signature branding to design three custom 33” x 80” single-sided banners. Each banner was unique, highlighting the three core services that Blake offers: Lighting, Irrigation and Lawn Care. We printed the banners on high performance vinyl, applied laminate, and then installed them in the retractable banner hardware.

Here’s a photo of the retractable banner system Blake purchased with carrying case. As you can see, the compact size and carrying case makes these banners especially handy. The banners are coiled around a metal bar inside the base. They take up only the amount of space required to display the banner and can be placed just about anywhere.

This photo shows you how compact a retractable banner really is. The banner stand and collapsible pole all fit inside the padded carrying bag. 

As you can see, retractable banners are a great way for Blake to quickly get his brand in front of potential customers. Along with his van wrap, Blake should get years of use out of his new portable displays!
