If you love classic songs like “Bye Bye Love,” “Rocky Top,” “Love Hurts” or “Wake Up Little Susie,” you need to visit the new Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit dedicated to legendary songwriters Boudleaux and Felice Bryant. We were honored to work with 1220 Exhibits, Inc. to print and install custom wall murals for this beautiful display!

What a wonderful way to recognize the accomplishments of this talented couple!

We’ve been fortunate to be a trusted partner with 1220 on a variety of projects for more than 5 years. Just a few notable projects that we've completed for 1220 include the installation of wall murals in the Nashville Predators locker room, a bus wrap for Indiana University’s Bicentennial celebration traveling exhibit, and the installation of interior wall graphics for the new Atlanta Braves stadium.

This exhibit, titled We Could: The Songwriting Artistry of Boudleaux and Felice Bryant, tells the story of Nashville’s first full-time professional songwriters. The exhibit highlights details and artifacts from the Bryants' personal and professional lives.

This project consisted of two large wall murals which were designed by artists at the Country Music Hall of Fame. We printed both wall coverings on premium 3M vinyl and applied Riverbed laminate to create a unique, textured effect. Our team installed the murals using a double cut method, which created a seamless look across the entire wall.

Photos like these add a very personal touch to the exhibition.

The main 50’ x 10’ wall mural features both black and white and color photos of the couple as well as photos of just a few of the artists that recorded and performed some of their most famous songs. The mural also includes photographs of the couple’s handwritten lyrics and music in the background.

The Bryants wrote 29 songs for the Everly Brothers. Twelve of them, like "Bye Bye Love", became hits!

Several additional items can also be seen at the exhibit (not pictured here), including the 1961 Martin 0-16NY guitar Boudleaux used to write "Rocky Top", Felice’s childhood prayer book, a handwritten recipe for her famous pasta sauce, and the tape recorder they used to record their song ideas. 

We also printed and installed a second wall to ceiling 25’ x 11’ mural which includes an image of the Great Smoky Mountains. The Bryants were inspired to write one of their most famous songs, “Rocky Top”, while staying at the Gatlinburg Inn in the heart of those beautiful mountains back in the mid-’60s.
