After an 18 month rebranding project, SMOOTHISFAST is here. If you aren't familiar with the name, you should be. In their own words, they are an after-action apparel company that provides quality gear for those who desire to look smooth while making things happen. The brandmark of their logo is an original double helix design of human DNA. For SMOOTHISFAST, this structure binds our tactical roots with our adrenaline seeking athletic genes. SMOOTHISFAST is more than a brand, and they want you to know who they are.

To strengthen their rebranding, they looked to mobile advertising on their custom trailer and company truck. The trailer, known as the SMOOTHISFAST Mobile Command (SIFMC), was custom built for them earlier this year. Since they travel to city spots and events to showcase their apparel, the trailer needed some graphics for brand identification. That's where we came in! We took the logo files, custom drawings and ideas from the SMOOTHISFAST team, and we transformed their trailer...and more...in time for the next event they had on their calendar.

Here's a shot of the Ford F-350 and the Mobile Command trailer before they left our shop and traveled to the next event for SMOOTHISFAST!

Our customers present their ideas to us in many different ways. Some describe what they want. Others have images created. Still others rely on us to come up with options. SMOOTHISFAST came to us with fantastic hand-drawn images for the look they wanted on their trailer! We used the drawings, along with their logo files, to create a proof of the designs for all four sides of the trailer.

We did have to make a few adjustments to the designs to account for scale and logo placement, and we even added a few extra details for them! You can see one little 'extra' in the photo above. The brandmark in the center of the Mobile Command wasn't in the original drawing, but it looks great on the trailer. 

In the process of fine-tuning the trailer graphics, SMOOTHISFAST decided to add some vinyl and lettering to their Ford F-350. In the near future, they hope to fully wrap both the truck and the trailer in matte black; however, we were working on a tight time schedule for an event they already had scheduled. Even with a short amount of time, the changes really make a difference in the overall look of the truck!

We installed black vinyl on the tailgate of the truck...

...and on the hood of the truck! We did add something 'extra' special to the front and back of the truck. Once we covered the Ford emblems, we added the SMOOTHISFAST logo in white cut vinyl. You can see it on the grille of the truck in the photo above. They loved the added touch!

The black and white brand colors really make a statement for SMOOTHISFAST, and we think the vinyl graphics look clean and professional. We look forward to working with them as they continue to grow and expand their advertising and vision. Stay tuned for future SMOOTHISFAST projects!
