If you’re driving down the road in Humphreys County, Tennessee, and your kids start waving frantically out the windows at the animals in the van next to you, you may be driving past the Humphreys County Humane Society “Critter Caravan!” These great animal lovers came to us after purchasing a Ford Transit cargo van through a grant from PetSmart Charities. They use the van for transporting animals to their location to be spayed or neutered, to get vaccines or other care, and then on to foster care or a “FurEver” home.
We were excited to come up with auto wrap graphics that would make this van fun and exciting to see as it drives around Waverly, McEwen, New Johnsonville and other cities, taking care of animals in the area. Our talented designer chose the bright color scheme and the idea of having the animals riding in the van looking out the windows. We created the Critter Caravan logo and a wrap design for all but the very front of the van, incorporating the color scheme and imagery across the windows, as well.
The rear of the van (below) shows photos of actual rescue animals from the shelter, as well as images of the states where the animals are relocated to their “FurEver” homes (Wisconsin, Michigan, New Jersey, and Tennessee) through their adoption program.
The work that goes on at the Humphreys County Humane Society is obviously a labor of love for all involved, and is supported by volunteers and donations in an effort to promote, strengthen, and improve the well-being of all animals. They are not an animal shelter, but they partner with animal shelters in the area. They sponsor volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and other activities that support their mission. Visit their website to learn more about the work they do.
