When you are a seven-time world champion theatrical percussion ensemble, you deserve some extra attention. With a freshly wrapped 53' semi trailer, Music City Mystique (McM) will be noticed when transporting their gear to performances and competitions with other performing groups from all over the world. Yes, the world.  

We originally heard from McM in October 2016. They wanted to know about a full coverage advertising wrap for their 53' semi trailer. They were providing us with a design, which included their logo, sponsors, and their black and aqua brand colors. The brand colors were very important to them, and they supplied the Pantone color codes from the start. 

We provided them with our 12-Point SignWorks guidelines for artwork, and they worked with Torrence, our graphics designer extraordinaire, to get all of the details and art placement just right. (You have to take into account that a semi trailer isn't just a simple rectangle. There are doors, latches, hinges, cut outs, and other details that can affect the wrap design when installed.)

As we do with most of our customers, we digitally printed a sample of the vinyl print for McM to approve. On a side note, our printers utilize the CMYK color model for printing, and Pantone colors are converted to CMYK prior to print. In some cases, the colors look different after the conversion, and we make the adjustments to make the colors accurate to our customers' brand colors. This was the case for McM. They took our sample print and adjusted their Pantone colors for a perfect conversion. Once we received the new color codes, we printed another sample that was instantly approved! 

With colors approved, we created a final proof (above) for both sides and the back of the trailer. We love how the design is simple yet bright, colorful, and striking.

We digitally printed the design on high performance wrap vinyl with a protective gloss UV laminate. We used our HP Latex 360 64" Wide Format High Production Printer to fabricate the panels for the wrap. The colors looked fantastic coming off the printer.

Although we prefer to install our wraps in a climate-controlled environment, our unusually warm December weather gave us the opportunity to install the advertising wrap onto the trailer outside.
