When we received the call from 3-D Technology, a full-service IT professional services, solutions and staffing firm, we were asked to create a custom full-coverage advertising wrap, unlike any we’ve created before. There’s nothing like a challenge to get our creative juices flowing, so our super talented team went straight to work!

When we custom design a vehicle wrap, we follow a three step process:

Step 1 - Take photos and measurements of the plain white van. (Hmm ... not the most exciting color.)

This is the plain white van that 3-D Technology brought to our shop. Oh the possibilities! :-)

We began the process by taking photos and measurements of the pearl white 2017 Nissan NV 3500 passenger van. How would potential customers know who’s driving this van? It could be anyone ... a plumbing company, a tech company, or even someone famous. As you can see, this van needed our help!

Step 2 - Create an amazing design, and submit a proof to our customer for review ... so they know exactly what they’re getting themselves into! ;-)

Next, our designer worked his magic to create a cool, high tech custom design with layered effects. This is where the WOW really started to take form! For inspiration, 3-D Technology provided a photo of multiple server racks. Our designer created a layout that included a similar set of dimensional server racks with an overlay of a world map to show that 3-D Technology does business globally. He also created an interconnecting web of gears, network icons, and the company’s logo in green to stand out against the black background.

In addition, he created a pattern of IT-related icons to create texture along the middle of the hood and roof, along the bottom of the sides, and also covering the entire rear door. The black icons pattern was designed to stand out very subtly against the background, which was a slightly different shade of black. To complete the design, he included 3-D Technology’s logo, tagline, and website.

The design incorporated vinyl coverage on the roof and perforated vinyl coverage (with small holes) on the side and rear windows, which made this a true full-coverage van wrap. The final layout was submitted in proof form to 3-D Technology. Talk about a beautiful, cohesive wrap design that will get noticed!

Step 3 - Print and install…. (This is the next WOW!)

This beautiful new van wrap will attract attention all over the Middle Tennessee area and beyond!

Notice the perforated vinyl on the rear and side windows. This is a great example of a professionally designed, full-coverage vehicle wrap.

After the proof was approved, we digitally printed the design on high quality vinyl material using our HP Latex Wide Format Printer. We also applied a gloss laminate to the vinyl to keep the wrap looking vibrant for years to come. The process of wrapping the van took a few days to complete, but as you can see, the new van wrap is pretty spectacular!
