There's a new amazing ice cream truck in town! You may have seen the '75 Chevy International Good Humor ice cream truck version of the Mean Green Ice Cream Machine (MGICM), which has served customers around the Nashville area for years. You know the one - bright green, hydraulics, custom sound system, amazing graphics, and delicious ice cream treats and gourmet desserts. Let us introduce the 1973 GMC step van addition to the MGICM fleet! We had the pleasure of fabricating and installing the custom vinyl graphics for this sweet 'Machine'.

The '73 step van came to us already wrapped in matte black vinyl. We touched up a few areas and prepped the sides of the truck for the new graphics.

The customer provided us with the logo and artwork for the truck, which we digitally printed on high-performance vinyl with a protective gloss UV laminate. We installed the graphics to both sides of the truck. (Don't worry - there are more graphics to come!)

You may notice the green speckled or splattered areas of the design. Since the truck came to us in a matte black, and the graphics were printed and laminated with a gloss finish, we relied on our detail-oriented installers to make the graphics look just right. They weeded out the extra vinyl and installed all of the speckles as cut vinyl pieces. This allows the glossy decals to pop against the matte black of the van. Time consuming: a little. Worth it: absolutely!

We also added white cut vinyl for the website and telephone number, and the step van was ready to roll!
