It’s amazing what a little vinyl can do! Vinyl can transform ordinary walls, doors and windows into works of art. To see what we mean, check out the fun cut vinyl graphics we fabricated and installed on restroom doors at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere!

The gorgeous wildlife artwork for these doors was supplied by the Nashville Zoo. Our graphic designer used the supplied graphics to create a proof prior to installation. This proof ensured that the door graphics would be the correct dimensions and that our installers would clearly understand how they should be placed on the doors.

Once the proof was approved, we cut the custom graphics out of high performance black 3M 7125 black vinyl using our plotter and weeded out the material that wouldn’t be used. We then pre-masked the remaining vinyl. This means we applied a very low tack transfer tape to help make the application process easier.

The top photo shows the men’s restroom door and the photo below shows the women’s restroom door. We love how the otherwise plain wood grain doors were transformed into something beautiful simply by applying a little cut vinyl!

As you can see, these doors are another fun addition to the ever-evolving and exciting decor at the Nashville Zoo. We’ll be working on more projects for the zoo in the coming year. Stay tuned!
