We partnered with our friends at Solomon Builders on a building they recently completed in Franklin TN. The structure houses a new facility for Touchstone Medical Imaging, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services. We designed, fabricated, and installed dimensional lettering for the reception area on the second floor of the newly constructed building.

We designed the lettering to fit a feature wall in the reception area. We received a blue print of the wall that we used as a reference to size the letters appropriately.

We were not given a specific font to use for the lettering, but we created the proof based on the format found on the company's website. The image above shows a portion of the proof that we sent to Touchstone for approval.

Once we received approval for the design, we fabricated the letters from 1/4" thick black acrylic with a Rowmark simulated brushed metal face. The layers were bonded together and laser cut into each individual letter. The use of the black acrylic base adds to the dimensionality of the letters and also provides the bonus of hiding any attachment points between the letters and the wall.

We transported the letters to the new building and installed them, using a template, on a gorgeous ceramic tile wall. The texture of the tile, along with the brushed metal dimensional letters, creates a unique and striking entryway for anyone arriving on the second floor.
