There are few things in life that are more enjoyable than a great action movie. Who doesn’t love watching memorable characters, like Indiana Jones and James Bond, come to life on the big screen? Recently, we created dynamic signage for a cool new entertainment venue with a movie-like setting. Now you can step into your own Hollywood action adventure (and see some of our work) at Middle Tennessee’s newest and most unique, immersive escape game: Liveminds Adventure Escape!

Looks like a movie set, right? These are actually behind the scenes photos taken at the new Liveminds Adventure Escape game in Franklin!

Liveminds, which recently opened in Franklin, TN, was conceptualized by the Jonathan Martin of Jonathan Martin Creative (JMC), a group of highly talented custom designers and fabricators of themed environments. JMC builds movie and TV sets, theme park attractions, museum exhibits, and more. Jonathan and his team specialize in making environments come to life with amazing scenery, lighting effects, and sound.

When Jonathan and his wife, Melissa, relocated to the Nashville area a few years ago, they decided to create an escape game in Franklin. Lucky for us, they wanted to take it to the next level. Liveminds is fully immersive (like you’ve just stepped onto a Hollywood movie set), with compelling storytelling, engaging puzzles & challenges, and amazing sets! Currently, you can choose from two missions: Treasure of Pacari and Knight Sky. Their next mission, Origins, will be opening soon.

The custom signs we created for Liveminds are all part of the new venue's environmental branding. In other words, repeated use of the Liveminds brand on the exterior, as well as throughout the interior spaces, creates value and brand awareness in the minds of players and visitors. Here are just a few of the many exciting projects we completed for Liveminds:

Custom Exterior Signage

For the main entrance, we fabricated a 3’ x 4’ exterior logo sign. It was created using digitally printed vinyl with a protective laminate adhered to an aluminum panel. The sign was installed with standoffs onto the exterior of the building just above the front door.  

We fabricated a smaller exterior sign to incorporate into the Lakeside Center business directory, which is located on Lakeview Drive. To create this custom sign, the logo was digitally printed onto vinyl material and then protected for outdoor use with a matte laminate. The vinyl was adhered to a 1” deep aluminum pan and then wrapped around the edges for full coverage on all visible surfaces. (Look...you can see our directory sign, too!)

Custom exterior signage was fabricated and installed for Liveminds, including the large sign above the front door and the smaller directory sign, which is located near the main road. 

Etched Glass Vinyl for the Front Door

Etched glass vinyl was installed on the front door which provides privacy while still allowing natural light to shine through. (The privacy was needed while Liveminds was being constructed.) JMC provided the artwork for the door, which we printed onto the etched glass vinyl using our flat-bed printer. Pretty enticing front door, wouldn’t you agree?

Custom Interior Signage for the Main Lobby

We digitally printed and installed several wall murals and signs for the main lobby. The largest wall mural, which is 20.5’ x 11’, contains bold, enticing graphics on high-quality vinyl material with a semi-gloss finish. As you can see, this mural definitely sets the scene for adventure!

This wall mural (along with the statue at Liveminds) sets the scene for adventure before you even step into the games!

There are several dynamic signs in the main lobby that we fabricated using sheets of white PVC. We printed three posters on ⅛” thick PVC which contain the artwork for the missions: Night Sky, Origins, and Treasure of Pacari. In addition, we digitally printed placards on ¼” thick PVC which contain information about the missing archaeologist from the Treasure of Pacari adventure, as well as the undercover spy that players will be assisting in the Night Sky mission. All artwork was provided by JMC.

JMC provided the amazing artwork for these posters and placards, all of which we printed on sheets of PVC. We think game players will love the results!

Just a few weeks ago, we were given the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look at Liveminds. It was very exciting to see how all of the elements have come together to create a unique, movie-like game experience! We love the talent that Jonathan and his team have brought to the Nashville area and can’t wait to play our first Liveminds game!
