Franklin Synergy Bank (FSB) is one of our most loyal, long-standing customers. We’ve had the pleasure of providing custom signage solutions for the bank since 2009. Recently, we fabricated and installed elegant interior branding signage for FSB’s newest branch location.

Headquartered in Franklin, TN, FSB is one of Tennessee’s leading community banks with more than $3 Billion in assets. Since our working relationship started, we have watched the bank franchise grow from a small community bank to 13 branches and one loan production office in the growing Williamson, Rutherford and Davidson Counties.

FSB’s newest branch is located at 1605 Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro. As with other branches, we were hired to create and install the custom signage throughout the interior of the branch office.

Here’s a look at some of the projects we installed at the new location.

Dimensional Logo Signage:

For branding signage, we created a 70” wide dimensional logo sign which was installed behind the teller desk. To create the sign’s dimensional effect, we adhered a sheet of brushed gold Rowmark to a sheet of ⅜” thick black acrylic and then laser cut the lettering and pineapple brandmark. The lettering and pineapple brandmark were then applied directly to the wall using very high bond adhesive strips. We think the sign looks great and clearly identifies the FSB brand!

The logo sign's reflective finish creates an upscale look in the bank's teller work area.

Acrylic Panel Sign:

For the entrance, we created a similar sign also using brushed gold Rowmark and black acrylic. The lettering and pineapple brandmark were fabricated using the same method as the dimensional logo sign. To give it a softer look, we installed the lettering and pineapple brandmark onto a 48” wide frosted acrylic panel (or backer.) We then attached this sign to the wall using six brushed metal standoffs. Standoffs create an eye-catching, dimensional effect, because they allow signs to “stand off” from the wall.

Etched Glass Vinyl:

This particular branch has a lot of glass doors! In order to create privacy for the people working behind those doors, we installed etched glass vinyl. Etched glass vinyl (sometimes known as frosted vinyl) is a sophisticated way to provide privacy while still maximizing natural light. It gives the appearance of expensive sandblasted glass for a fraction of the cost and is easily removable.

We also included a cut-out of the pineapple brandmark within the vinyl application on each door. The doors now match the bank’s upscale image.

As you can see, the brushed gold on the dimensional signs, as well as the etched vinyl on the glass doors, created an elegant look. Similar custom signage can be seen in FSB’s other branch locations. When a company or organization uses the same materials, brand colors, logo styles, themes, etc. in many locations, brand strength (or recognition) is created.
