Throughout this year, we have fabricated and installed environmental graphics at Loews Hotels and Resorts across the country and Canada. We started with the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel here in Nashville, and we most recently completed the Loews Hôtel Vogue in Montreal, QC. For each location (13 to date!), we've worked within the 'back of house' or, as Loews calls it, the 'Heart of House,' where the daily operations and magic happen. Most recently, we branched away from the hotels and resorts to install similar branding graphics at the Loews Business Services Center in downtown Music City.

The Loews Business Services Center (BSC) is located in the Fifth Third Center on Church Street and Fifth Avenue North. Although the Loews Hotels headquarters resides in New York City, the Nashville location serves as a business hub for the company's financial and hotel operations departments. We were asked to fabricate and install environmental graphics within the BSC - some similar to the 'Heart of House' graphics and others of completely new design.

Throughout the multiple floors of the BSC, we installed the following:

• Wall graphics and wallpaper
• Hanging ceiling signage
• Hall of Fame frame display
• Magnetic signage

Using the artwork provided by Loews Design, our team fabricated and installed graphics on the walls throughout the BSC. For fabrication, our team created print files from the artwork sent to us from Loews Design. We took the print files and digitally printed, laminated, and custom cut the graphics to prepare them for installation.

We installed brand borders and motivational quotes - like the ones in the photo above - throughout the BSC. All of the graphics feature the bold and colorful Loews brand colors.

The Loews principles were installed onto a glass wall in the BSC.

Similar to the Loews Hotels and Resorts locations, we installed 'Thank You' wallpaper within the BSC. The design features languages from all over the globe and recognizes that the Loews team is made up of members from many different countries.

Some of the wall murals feature photographs of places within Nashville. At each Loews location, many of the graphics reflect the local area surrounding the property.

This wall mural, located in the team member cafe (Cafe 424), shows the beautiful Nashville skyline - again, a shout-out to the BSC's address.

Another feature that is specific to each location is the Loews timeline wall graphic. The graphics start the same, showing the history of Loews, but they include events specific to each individual location.

We also fabricated hanging ceiling signage that we installed around the BSC. To hang the signs, we used adjustable cables to ensure that the signs were level. We printed the hanging sign graphics on both sides of 3mm PVC on our in-house flat bed printer. 

Two projects in one! This photo shows a digitally printed column wrap and one of the custom hanging signs. With the white walls of the business space, the bold colors really stand out. 

 For this hanging sign, we reinforced the top of the sign with additional PVC that was framed to the shape of the circles. We used small squares of clear acrylic on both sides of the PVC at the anchor points for the cables. The reinforced areas ensure that the sign will hang straight and that the cables will remain secure. 

We also printed these double-sided hanging signs on 3mm PVC. There are department designations throughout the BSC, including Special Services and the Loews Reservation Center. We used the adjustable cables to hang these signs; however, they are anchored to an aluminum rail that is attached to the top of each sign.

 The 'Hall of Fame' display is a staple in all of the updated Loews properties. The heading at the top was fabricated from cut vinyl, and the frames were made from 3mm PVC.

Some of the signage at the BSC is interactive. The custom magnet board - or scoreboard - was created out of a combination of contour cut printed vinyl, digitally printed magnets, and dry erase laminate on blank vinyl circles. We'd love to see this scoreboard in action!

 The blank circles were laminated with dry erase laminate so they can be written on over and over again.

Our partnership with Loews Hotels and Resorts continues into 2017, and we've enjoyed the relationship that we've developed with them.
