We strive to incorporate our 12 Guiding Values into each customer interaction to build lifelong relationships, especially with our local businesses and organizations. For this week's Project of the Week article, we are highlighting one of our favorite customer relationships with the local Middle Tennessee congregation Church of the City and their new holiday exterior wall graphics.
Since 2015, we have been fortunate to assist the Church of the City with custom signage such as banners, wall graphics, a-frames, and much more for their growing congregation.
Because we all will be celebrating this year's holiday season differently, organizations like Church of the City (COTC) have planned modified Christmas experiences for locals to enjoy right from their home or in-person with "touchless" engagements and safety precautions.
To add more holiday WOW factors to their special celebrations, the congregation's creative team contacted us to fabricate and install beautiful building graphics they designed for their Spring Hill and Franklin locations. Holiday cheer + creating festive decorations for one of our favorite clients = our version of a Christmas party! We couldn't wait to get started!
The Christmas design above is for the exterior entrance wall of the Spring Hill location, and the Advent design below it is for the entrance walls of the Franklin location.
Our graphic designer Jeni worked with Church of the City's designers to format the size of the graphics to fit each 10ft wall. Fortunately, Jeni was able to create a large vinyl print that would cover the wall size, and she was able to edit the look of the graphics as close to COTC creative team's original design without a lot of distortion or cuts.
To bring these cheerful designs to life, our production team printed the exterior wall graphics on Arlon laminated vinyl using our HP 360 printer. We had to print two of the Advent designs because the Franklin location has two entrance walls that, of course, needed an equal amount of WOW.
Our production team then proceeded to cut out the 52" x 65" Christmas design and the two 96" x 10" Advent designs from the material using our large format vinyl cutter machine. After the fabrication process was complete, it was our installation team's turn to put the final touches together.
Before installing the new holiday wall graphics, our installers had to remove the previous artwork. Fun Fact: Although textured surface vinyl can last for a long time, the graphics can be easily removed and replaced to keep up with your brand campaigns and holiday themes.
For both Church of the City locations, our skilled installers applied the custom graphics to the painted brick/masonry surfaces by using applied heat and a roller. This installation process conforms the graphics to the textured exterior.
After installing the building graphics at both locations, the designs were ready for their holiday debut!
"We are very satisfied with the end results! The installation team did an amazing job. This project turned out better than we ever expected!" stated Christin Wurst, Church of the City's Creative Team Coordinator.
Ms. Wurst explained to us that the wall graphics are for Advent to build anticipation for the Christmas season—such an exciting time for their church members!
The holiday exterior wall graphics look spectacular! The designs are simple, but we love how they create just the right amount of Christmas cheer. We hope to continue building our trustworthy customer relationship with the Church of the City by providing our services for all their special events, brand refreshes, or facility modifications due to COVID-19.
