Did you know fleet wraps are a great way to generate a professional image for your company or organization? If your business owns multiple vehicles, just imagine the number of times your brand can be seen as your employees drive around town. We’ve had the privilege of working with Never Grow Up, Inc. (NGU), the parent company of The Academy Preschools over the past few years to wrap several of their fleet vehicles. Let’s take a look at their latest project: a beautiful new bus wrap!
We designed, printed and installed this vibrant full-coverage bus wrap for The Academy Preschools. Talk about eye-catching!
We’ve worked with NGU on four previous fleet wraps, including two fiats, one bus, and one maintenance truck. The new bus was purchased for The Academy of Heritage Commons, in Thompson’s Station, TN, to accommodate elementary-aged students who would be coming to the preschool for after-school care. The preschool already had one van (which we had wrapped), but they needed another one to transport more students.
Probably our biggest challenge on this project was the short amount of time we had to design, print and install this full-coverage wrap. We had to completely cover all the white painted surfaces of the bus (with the exception of the roof.) The school needed the bus within 6 business days from the original phone call, so we went to work right away!
Fortunately, we didn’t have to start from scratch on this one. Although the first bus was a different model, our designer was able to reformat the artwork from the original design to fit the new bus. He created a proof for our contact at NGU and quickly received her approval. We then printed the graphics on high performance vinyl with a laminate finish to protect the surface from fading. We also used our flatbed cutter to contour cut the decals that were placed on the base wrap’s surface. See the image below and this video to see our flatbed cutter in action!
Our flatbed cutter works great for contour cutting decals like these. Check out this video to see the contour cutting process!
Our talented team of installers then began working on the installation. Because of the many contours on this bus, it took several team members three days to complete the installation. You can see how intricate some of the areas were on this bus!
This bus wrap required a lot of detail work to ensure adhesion around the bus's many contours. We kept several team members busy on this one!
Once the bus was completed, we took it outside to get some photos. As with all the vehicles we’ve wrapped for NGU, we’re super proud of how this vibrant bus wrap turned out. As you can see, this one can’t be missed when it’s traveling down the road! :-)
We love the bright, fun colors and illustrations in this custom bus wrap!
Here’s a look at one of the Fiats and the maintenance truck we wrapped a few years ago. To learn more about the custom wrap we installed on the Fiat, read this article. NGU definitely knows how to present themselves professionally through mobile fleet marketing!
These fleet wraps are a great way to reinforce the professional image of The Academy Preschools, as well as provide great advertising!
