The Predicament: Franklin Juice Company needed a custom dimensional sign to identify their business location in The Factory at Franklin.

The Solution: We created a custom rail mounted dimensional sign with their classy capital letters to let every passerby know just where to find them. We kept the design simple to reflect their natural, organic philosophy. Here's how we did it...

We were contacted by Franklin Juice Company to layout, fabricate and install a custom sign for the outside of their storefront. The decor for their location at The Factory combines wood and brick elements with a corrugated roof. They wanted to add their business name to the roof line of their store without deviating from the clean, natural look.

Even with the cute hanging signs showing the company brandmark, you may not realize that this is Franklin Juice Company. The shop is just missing something...

To create the sign, we laser cut 1/2" thick white acrylic into the individual capital letters of the business name. We took a piece of 063 mill finish aluminum and custom bent it to the perfect angle to meet the corrugated roof line, which gave us a support system for the 9" tall letters.

We bonded the acrylic letters to the face of the aluminum to complete the look. If this was an exterior sign, we would have stud mounted the letters to the aluminum; however, bonding works great since this is an interior sign. (It's an interior sign that's really exterior to the storefront but not outside so it's inside. Make sense?)

Now for the important part! We installed it onto the storefront by placing self-tapping metal screws along the aluminum piece to secure it into the roof line. Done!

Here is a close-up shot of the acrylic letters bonded to the aluminum and fastened into the roof. Clean and simple, just like Franklin Juice Company!

We think the individual acrylic letters are precisely spaced along the aluminum to create the perfect signage for Franklin Juice Company. When you enter The Factory and look around, you are sure to notice this classy shop. Stop in for a little treat or pre-order a cleanse to take home with you. (Let me know how that goes!
