If there’s one thing we can all agree on at 12-Point, it’s this….we LOVE great food! So when we get the opportunity to create an original design for a new food truck, we get just a little excited! We were recently hired to design, print and install a custom food truck wrap for our new friends at HandHeld. This is one design that's sure to get your mouth watering!

HandHeld is a new mobile food truck vendor and caterer based out of Murray, KY and Paris, TN which serves tacos, sliders and other delicious handheld foods. Owners Adam Clapp and Jeff Hernandez decided to start the business after working together for 6 years in the food industry. They enjoy the happiness that food brings to people. So needless to say, they’ve chosen the perfect business. :-)

To get this project started, Adam and Jeff brought us a used food truck which still had a pretty nice wrap on it. However, it wouldn’t work for their business. They asked for help with the branding for HandHeld, as well as the removal of the old wrap and the new wrap installation. That’s where our uber talented designer, Torrence, stepped in!

After talking with Adam and Jeff about their ideas, Torrence came up with a fun logo and wrap design, which includes a colorful smiling taco character, confetti, cactuses and more fun artwork on a black background. Very cool!

Torrence sent the artwork to Jeff and Adam, who gave their enthusiastic approval. We then printed the artwork on high performance vinyl and applied a protective UV gloss laminate for protection from UV rays and scratches. Our talented team removed the old food truck wrap and installed the new one within just a few days.

Here are a couple of more photos of this beautiful custom wrap. We might be a little biased, but we’re pretty sure this truck’s destined to become just a bit famous in Murray, KY and Paris, TN!
