Did you know that wall graphics and environmental branding can create an overall experience for your customers to get to know who you are? The surrounding signage takes control of the pace of their visual process moving through your work space. This makes it easier for visiting customers to navigate through the facility. 

This week, we installed new wall graphics for Harpeth Christian Church that focused on their ministry efforts on the “Four Gs”: Gather, Grow, Give, Go. 

Sometimes, businesses forget that building a brand is more than what you see on the outside, but what customers see when they open office doors.

This is not our first time working with Harpeth Christian Church. Since 2009, we have provided directional signage and wall signs in their entire facility. We have also completed other projects for them as well such as:

• Custom banners
• Exterior and interior logo installation
• Cut vinyl graphics
• A-frames graphics
• Window graphics
• Yard signs

We were excited to get their call again when they mentioned they needed wall graphics in the children’s hallway of the church as well as on a wall near the main auditorium. 

We decided to keep the same design structure for this project to not break the flow of color, shape, and directional pattern of the previous artwork inside of the church. As stated before, environmental branding is about the flow of your audience's visual process. The graphics in your facility need to have a balanced structure in order for your brand and/or message to stay consistent. 

The color palette for the design was based on the church’s interior branding colors that can be found throughout objects such as stools, tables, flooring, and the church’s logo. 

We love how the signage and color palettes flow within this open area of the church!

Because of the small features in the graphics, we chose to use a high tack vinyl with a satin finish to minimize the likelihood of the vinyl peeling or curling over time. We printed the graphics ,using our HP L570 latex printer. We then applied the protective satin laminate and then cut out the individual pieces in preparation for the installation.  

For the children’s hallway, we applied each of the “Four Gs ” over four child-high corkboards, which will be used for their children’s ministry to showcase their work under each “G”.

We can't wait to check back in to see what the children ministry will put on the cork boards!

Although this was a small design process, it still added more to the story of who Harpeth Christian Church is and what they want to represent to their audience. As a result, this could lead to more retention of their ministry and to give newcomers a genuine welcome feeling when they enter the church. 

This can be a result for you as well, but with your own audience and even with your employees. The story of your brand you display in your facility can create a strong sense of community and pride in ownership.
