Being a part of the Franklin, TN community has been a rewarding experience for us. We have been fortunate to work with multiple local businesses and organizations that have contributed to our growth and development as a small company over the last decade.

This week, we are highlighting the custom wayfinding signs we updated and installed for the Battle of Franklin Trust - a 501(c)(3) organization that preserves, understands, and interprets the story of a people forever impacted by the American Civil War.

It has been an honor to work with the Civil War and Franklin-area historical experts at the Battle of Franklin Trust for many years. They have allowed us to contribute to the custom signage around the grounds of the Carter House and Carnton.

A few months ago, the organization contacted us to create architectural signs on the property that would encourage visitors to pause and reflect on the historical significance of the property and the Civil War events that took place there.

Pause & Reflect Wayfinding Sign for Carton Plantation Carnton was built in 1826 by former Nashville mayor Randal McGavock.

For the new signs, our production team used the same materials and applied the same installation process from a sign we had previously made for the Carnton property.

They used 3” square aluminum posts with decorative caps and an aluminum sign panel.  The graphics themselves were made from metallic gold and white high-performance vinyl to ensure that they’ll look good for several years.

As we installed the signs back into the property grounds, we backfilled the area with soil so the grass will grow properly around the posts.

It is always a pleasure to work with one of the many local organizations in historic Franklin. We wouldn’t be where we are today without their dedicated support over the years.
