With a merger and a move, Advantage Rent A Car ("Advantage") was in need of new signage at the Nashville International Airport (BNA). We were happy to satisfy that need with the production and installation of updated graphics for the sign faces, including stall signs, kiosks, and wayfinding signage throughout the rental car facility at the airport. 

As for the merger, Advantage purchased E-Z Rent-A-Car ("E-Z") and completed the union in 2015. With the addition of E-Z, Advantage needed to update the graphics on its airport signage to reflect the new "one company, two brand" approach. They provided us with the artwork, showing both brands combined.

As for the move at BNA, Advantage took over the area on the third floor previously occupied by Thrifty. With the change in location, Advantage and E-Z needed their branding installed in and around their new spot. That's where our team came in.

We took the files provided by Advantage and digitally printed them on vinyl with a protective gloss laminate. Once the files were ready, our team traveled to the airport to install them in the various locations throughout the rental car facility. (It wasn't quite that easy - we had to remove the old graphics first!)

We fabricated and installed 34 hanging stall signs for Advantage. This is pretty important signage to ensure customers can locate the car they are renting!

We installed new digitally printed graphics on two kiosks in the rental car facility. The photo above shows one of the kiosks that received the graphics on all four sides of the structure.

This single-sided blade hanging blade sign received the new Advantage graphics once the Thrifty graphics were removed.

We used translucent vinyl with a protective gloss laminate on this double-sided, internally illuminated hanging blade sign. The translucent vinyl allows the light to shine through.

In addition to the rebranding on the signage around the facility, we also updated the graphics for two pylon signs at the facility entrance. You can see one of the pylon signs in the photos above.

The rebranding for Advantage was extremely thorough so we are confident that no customers will have any difficulty finding their rental car! They've also increased their rental availability with the E-Z merger, so I'm sure they will have a continuous flow of traffic headed their way.

Although the graphics for this project were simple, the impact that they have are necessary for the success of Advantage. Customers won't use them if they can't find them! This is why branding signage is so imperative for businesses.
