If your New Year's resolution includes something about healthy eating, we have just the place for you! Giardino Gourmet Salads is a new restaurant opening soon in Brentwood, Tennessee. This fast, casual concept is based in Miami, Florida, and already has eleven locations in operation in southern Florida. Mindi and Matthew Sr, bookend siblings, are originally from Miami and are bringing the concept to the Nashville area. (Yay!) We had the pleasure of meeting them a few months ago, and we've been working with them to create the signage for their first of three locations. 

Giardino Gourmet Salads was founded by a firefighter and school teacher. As a husband and wife team, they have grown this brand organically with the help of six former executives from Burger King. Each board member is dedicated to the growth of the franchise, and they are excited about the first out-of-state location opening up here in Brentwood, Tennessee. (We share that excitement! The menu looks amazing!)

Recently, we completed two projects for them as they prepare for their Grand Opening in January 2016. We designed and fabricated a 96" x 29.6" LED illuminated channel letter sign of the Giardino's logo for the outside of their location. The sign has a painted raceway and digitally printed capsule graphics.

This is the proof for the illuminated channel letter sign. Outdoor signage is necessary to get a business - especially a new one - noticed, and illuminated channel letters do an exceptional job of advertising for businesses when the sun goes down. 

We also designed, printed, and installed a full advertising wrap for their Nissan Versa. They met with us in our shop to discuss the layout and details for the design. We used a reclaimed wood motif with a light grain for the background of the wrap. To that, we added the Giardino Gourmet Salads logo, the contact information for the new Brentwood location, and the salad image from the restaurant's menu. You really can't miss this car on the road, and we guarantee you will be craving salad once you see it. (Just follow it to the new location!)

The Nissan Versa getting the finishing touches in our shop. I love how the social media icons follow the curve of the wheel well! We also used the green brand color from the logo to accent the high-res photo of a Giardino's salad.

We digitally printed this custom wrap on Avery MPI 1005 high-performance wrap vinyl with an Avery DOL 1060 protective gloss overlaminate. Our talented installer Felix ensured that the grain of the wood on the door handles aligned with the grain on the body of the car. The rear window design was digitally printed on Oracal 3675 Perforated Window Film with an Oracal ORAGUARD 290GF Optically Clear Premium Cast Overlaminate. The perforated film, unlike the regular, non-perforated vinyl on the rest of the car, has thousands of microscopic holes on 50% of its surface. This allows the design to continue across the back of the car without blocking the visibility from the inside out. 

The design on the perforated window vinyl includes the wood motif and the logo for Giardino's. (We also love the placement of the social media icons on the back of the car!)

The branding project for Giardino Gourmet Salads is really coming together! The outdoor sign and vehicle wrap offer tremendous advertising for the last few weeks before their opening. We look forward to working on additional projects for them, including menus and flyers, as the big day approaches. Then we can start thinking about the next location! :)
