You’ve heard us say it before, but we’ll proudly say it again...vehicle advertising works! Hyundai of Cool Springs understands the benefits of mobile branding and is taking advantage with a bold new van wrap. Here’s how this custom wrap went from concept to finished product!

Our friends in the Fleet & Commercial Sales division at Nissan of Cool Springs (NCS) recently introduced us to Veronica Rossman, Parts Manager for Hyundai of Cool Springs (HCS). We learned that HCS had been acquired by the owners of the Nissan dealership, and a new advertising wrap was needed for HCS’s Parts Department.

Our designer worked with Veronica to create the wrap design for the 2018 NV2500 cargo van. She looked at our portfolio of wraps and was willing to give our designer a wide range of creative liberty with the design. He suggested using the van’s large side panels to advertise a vehicle that the dealership would like to promote. Veronica and her team chose the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe.

In addition to two different photos of the Santa Fe on both sides (and descriptions about the vehicle), the design also included bold white and grey stripes which complement the Hyundai logo. The HCS logo was placed on the front hood and contact information for the parts department was included on the sides and back. A large Hyundai logo was placed on the back doors. Our designer provided the proof below to help Veronica visualize how the van wrap would look after installation. Pretty cool design, don’t you think?

This proof is enough to get anyone excited! We provide proofs like this to all of our custom wrap customers.

After receiving the thumbs up from Veronica, we printed the graphics on high performance vinyl using our wide format HP printer. We applied a laminate to the vinyl to protect the wrap from fading and scratches. Our talented team then installed the wrap.

You can see that the Nissan van's paint color is white beneath the full coverage vinyl wrap.

The photo below shows our installer heat setting the vinyl inside a deep ridge that ran along the top of the van on both sides. This process of heating to 185 degrees ensures that the vinyl loses its “memory.” What exactly does that mean? Heating the vinyl to that temperature forces it to stay in its new position and not go back to its original manufactured shape & form.

Proper heat setting is important to ensure the edges of the vinyl stay in place long after the wrap is installed.

Here’s another view of the new van wrap. The bold stripes on this one make it a little different, and we really like that! :-)

This custom van wrap will be getting attention for years to come!

As you can see, HCS is using their cargo van not only to deliver parts, but also to sell more Hyundai vehicles and advertise the dealership’s location. Now that’s a great example of using money wisely!
